Architectural Design
The Architectural Design Degree prepares students for positions as a drafter or designer for architectural firms, contractors, or construction related companies. The curriculum integrates construction methods and materials, building science, structural mechanics and the creation of construction documents. Students participate in team projects to learn problem solving, critical thinking, communication and technical skills. The department constantly upgrades to the latest Autodesk software, which allows students to graduate with leading edge skills. To be successful in this program it is desirable that students have a background in computers and math, and have an aptitude for spatial thinking.
