Students develop a solid foundation in planning an effective user-friendly web presence; designing visually appealing and informative content using various web programming languages and the latest web development tools, and in enhancing pages using original graphics and scripting.

This concentration is designed to help students develop the skills they need to meet today’s growing demand for web development professionals. Web development is an area of information technology associated with the World Wide Web and the Internet. Tasks include web page design, web site development, electronic publishing, and ecommerce and web-based business applications.
